PoliticsNGR learnt that the bail was granted on liberal terms on July 14 by the vacation judge of the High Court, Justice Yusuf Halilu. His bail stands at N500 million with two sureties at N250,000 each. He is also to submit his travel documents to the court.

The ex-governor was arrested by the EFCC on July 4th at a ceremony in Abuja after evading arrest for 6 years. He was arraigned by the anti-graft commission alongside 3 companies, Arkel construction, INC natural resources Ltd and Wildcat construction Ltd.
