Oyetola: My Roles In Aregbesola's Govt Have Greatly Equipped Me For This Guber Ambition





The Chief of Staff to Mr.  Rauf  Aregbesola,  the Osun state Governor, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola has revealed that his positive roles in the successes Aregbesola achieved have equipped him for the governorship assignment he has embarked upon in the state.


Oyetola, a leading gubernatorial aspirant under the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress said on Wednesday, that he would sustain and improve on the developmental drive of the present administration in the state through financial intelligence.


The Chief of Staff made this known while rounding off consultations across the state ahead of the primaries of the party tentatively slated for July 7.


He asked voters in the state to objectively  assess candidates for the September 22 gubernatorial election on the basis of necessary experience and dexterity for sustainable development saying he is better qualified to succeed Aregbesola.


Oyetola argued he was a "critical factor" in the policy formulation and implementation of the Aregbesola led administration,  saying such level of involvement equipped him for greater assignment.


According to him,  the years of critical engagement on several developmental policies and state administration have fetched him more essential leadership values.


He stressed that the state needed individual with such administrative savvy and financial  intelligence to sustain level of development in the state.


He said, "I make bold to say that I was a key factor in the formulation and  implementation of several developmental projects across the state.


"I have gathered more than enough in terms of management dexterity and administrative skills having worked with a visionary leader like Governor Rauf Aregbesola,  coupled with more than 30 years of experience in the private sector.


"I have satisfactory knowledge of the strengths and needs of the state with pragmatic blueprint for policy implementation."
