Osun Artisans, Traders Declare Support For PDP Guber Candidate, Adeleke



Members of Ajegunle Market Traders have declared their support for the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the September 22 election in Osun state, Senator Ademola Adeleke.


They made this known when they stormed the residence of the Senator in Eden to endorse him as their governor come September.


Speaking, the Chairman of the association, Alhaji Ganiyu Wakil declared that his members are ready to vote for Adeleke stating his assurance that the lawmaker would  put an end to the suffering of Osun people.once he takes the mantle of leadership.


He said, "We are here to endorse you (Adeleke). We are here to plegde  our votes for you. We know you have good antecedent and records. You know the challenges facing artisans and traders in Osun.We know you are the right man for the job."


Reacting,  Aseleke promised the traders and artisans numbering 1500 of new lease of life once he assumed office as the state's helmsman.


According to him,  "I will support artisans, drivers, traders and all categories of trade operators. Our government will introduce supportive programmes to ensure access to soft loans. I will stop  punitive taxes."


"My government will serve the poor, the vulcanisers, bricklayers, mechanics and all artisans. My government will be your government. This current economic darkness will disappear under the light of our government."


Lamenting the ongoing economic depression among Osun indegenes ,the gubernatorial hopeful told the traders that "my government will be a compassionate one where workers will be paid regularly, where pensioners will have their dues, where inflation of contracts for self-enrichment will be a thing of the past.


"I have a validated blueprint to deliver on good governance in Osun state.I thank you for endorsing my candidature."
