The coordinator of the vote not fight campaign, Bukola Idowu in a press statement on Tuesday said the international observers and other countries are hailing Nigerians for Saturday poll thereby calling on Youths and the parties involved to allow for free, fair and credible Re-run so that the accolade given to Osun will be sustained.

The statement reads : ''The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared a rerun of the election in some polling unit in Orolu, Ife South, Ife North and Osogbo on September 23,2018.

''We request all stakeholders :INEC, political parties, candidates, youth leaders, security officers and political gladiators to please ensure a peaceful election atmosphere before, during and after the the Re-run election.

'' We request that all the candidates involved in the forthcoming Re-run election bear in mind of their promises of ensuring a peaceful atmosphere for all,  irrespective of their personal political ambitions.

''We also want to remind Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola of APC, Senator Ademola Adeleke of PDP and Senator Iyiola Omisore of SDP of the peace pledge they all signed to and their commitment to ensure all their followers are not going to cause violence in any area, noting that this is the best legacy they can give this generation."
